Welcome

First of all let me be perfectly clear that I am not a Dr.

Overview

Whether we're making tires, plastic containers or chocolate all processes can be broken down into 3 sections, Input transformation and output.

With tires, plastic containers and chocolate the results are easily identified by almost anyone. Why, because they can be seen.

The human body is somewhat different in that you have the same 3 stages but the output that interests me can't be measured and isn't obvious to outsiders.

Every day we encounter influences that affect our outputs of mood, anxiety, anger panic etc. Some of these exposures influence in a positive way which makes us feel better and lowers the anxiety, panic etc. and some influence in a negative way.

The key is to identify the things that influence us as individuals and try to find ways to control them and increase the quality of our life.

This is widely used in manufacturing to control processes but has been successfully applied to medical problems as well.

It is very important to remember that in some cases what we do today may not show up for a day or two and sometimes it's a combination of inputs that alter the output. For example, if we experience one cloudy dreary day we may be fine but if we have 4 in a row we may begin to feel the negative influence. You may say well I can't control the weather and that's true but if we know this is the case then after the 3rd day a session of light therapy might just make all the difference.

I have put together a spreadsheet to help identify these variables and it is available at the link below. Just click on the teddy bear to open the sheet and then just save it to your hard drive.

I'll be happy to answer questions and walk anyone through the use. All you have to do is ask. It can also be altered to suit your specific situation.

I hope this is helpful to someone.
